Curriculum Vitae

Chris Adams joined the fine art faculty at South Plains College in 2015, currently serving as Assistant Professor of Art. He presently teaches courses in Drawing I, Drawing II, and Art Appreciation and has previously taught Design I and Foundations of Art. Chris graduated from the University of North Texas in 1998 with a BFA in Printmaking. He then spent a decade in the commercial print industry as a designer and printer before earning his Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Texas Tech University in 2012. Chris continues to pursue his interest in design through his own Dust Wing Studio and has previously held membership in Post-Important Studios, Midland’s Gallery 1114, and San Antonio’s Clamp Light Gallery.
